Oh, Florida Eh

For the remainder of this month and until Feb. 2, the 1997 South Florida Fair in West Palm Beach is presenting Oh Canada Eh?!, Niagara's longest running musical and the city's twice-named attraction of the year.
In a fortuitous coincidence Ross Robinson, a co-owner of the local dinner show, was well acquainted with a member of the South Florida Fair's organization committee. And, once again coincidentally, "Oh Canada" happened to be the chosen theme for the Florida fair's Exposition Hall this year. When the other committee members were informed of the background of Oh Canada Eh?!, the wheels were quickly set in motion to bring the musical performance to Florida.
Within three months the show was approved, and Oh Canada Eh?! Was set to be the only live Canadian performance in the Fair's 50,000 square foot Exposition Hall.
According to June Richardson, General Manager of Oh Canada Eh?!, the Niagara Falls Pavilion showcases an outstanding replica of Niagara Falls, as well as slides and videos of the area. Among the other attractions presented to convey the Fair's Oh Canada theme are large murals depicting various regions of Canada, a replica of the Calgary Stampede which utilizes literally tons of sand, and a large waterfall representing the power and magic of Niagara Falls.
The 10 Oh Canada Eh?!" cast members in Florida are performing a 30 minute routine five times daily at the pavilion. Their show is packed with some 25 musical numbers, all strictly Canadian content.
This Valentine's Day the Oh Canada Eh?! Dinner Show commences its 1997 performances back here in Niagara with show #602.
